Gallery and Instagram!

We are now on Instagram @merrilinmusic – thought it was about time we got ‘with it’ so now we can post pics of our items and places regularly…and they get shared to the twitter and facebook pages so it’s a win win! If you are on there check us out, we are finding cool people to follow too.

On the back of that we have started a gallery page here on the website, the instruments we have are so beautiful so it’s great to show them off, if there is anything you are interested in btw just drop us a line and we can get a postage quote to you!

Take care all,

G & T.

Peruvian slide whistles, a lovely quality item and sound.

Festival at the Edge 2016

We are back from another great Festival at the Edge, so lovely to see familiar faces, returning customers and friends. We were very lucky with the weather – not a drop of rain, and some fab instruments have gone to new homes, including a beautiful Vietnamese gong and a lovely Peruvian Jacaranda flute, it is always brilliant to have people arrive at the stall and show the items off to their best. A duck quacker and a wooden cricket are also off to be used in storytelling, how great!

A busy year!

Hello all, and apologies for the lack of posts, we are now back on form and busy too. In the last year lots has happened, most recently we got married so that took up a lot of time! Also we now have a retail space in a fab shop in Presteigne called ‘Serendipity Llanandras’ Website here!

We traded at our favourite festival – Festival at the Edge again in July where we had lots of fun and as always met loads of interesting and fun people, and luckily the weather was kind which always helps when having a stall outside. Now we are focusing on the shop and planning for the next event which will be the lovely Much Wenlock Christmas Fayre in December, unless anything else crops up beforehand of course!

Take care folks, blog soon.

Tim and Gem.

Beautiful Days 2014

It’s a week since we were at the amazing Beautiful Days festival in Devon, it is the one that we always go to as punters not to trade as there is SO much to see all day long, we did make some contacts though so there was a bit of work involved. Over the course of the weekend we saw some wonderful acts including Steeleye Span, Bellowhead, Jimmy Cliff and Dreadzone, The Barsteward Sons of Val Doonican and Ferocious Dog, as well as the Levellers whose festival it is – all knocked our socks off! Back to reality now however, on with the on-line shop to which more stock is coming soon, and planning Christmas events…busy, busy!
